Recently, my Family has come under Financial troubles. I've slowly seen it coming year after year, As there always seems to be one new addition to the family, and there seems to be less and less money in the bank accounts to pay for things. Today, though, we officially went broke. My mom could barely pay for a check up we had to have on one of our dogs because she had an ear infection, only to discover she has soemthing worse in her ass. My mom and my grandmother are the main sources of income, since my uncle's money goes righ into my grandmother's account and I haven't a job yet.
But I'm obviously the one who needs to bring in money. Factoring in school and Homework, I barely have time for sleep, so I could never get an afterschool job.
But I somehow always find time to draw, which is why I ask this question...
If I offered commisions, would any of you pay me? Would any of you actually pay me for some of my drawings?
I've never thought of commisions before because I don't have any way of getting the moeny to me without looking suspicious (Money randomly coming in the mail addressed to me? That'd send off all the alarms in my Mom and Grandmother), and I never believed I was good enough.
But would you ever? I may nt do it now, but maybe sometime in the near future to prevent another year like this... but would you pay for some of my drawings?
Just a random thought, but aseriously, is it so bad for a guy in real life to have a ponytail? A couple of months ago when my hair was a little shorter than it is now, I tried wearing a pony tail to school because my hair often got in my face when drawing. Admitabbly, it was pretty bad, since my hair was the equivilant of a rats nest and looked horrible, plus my hair wasn't really the right length anyway, but still, I wanted to, and I did.
The first wors out of my friends mouths were that I looked Gay.
Now, I've got nothing agaisnt them, since they didn't mean it in a harsh way. But it got me thinking. What's wrong with a guy with a ponytail? It cropped up again recently after I got my hair trimmed to releave some of the split ends, and I heard my grandmother mention something about guys with Ponytails.
Seriously? Just what is wrong with a guy who has a Ponytail?
