Description

To think that I look back now and see What I orignally saw as Jack...

Anyway, Normally I would Not submit anything by another artist, in fact, other than My current Favorite Devinitation, I only have two that was not originally done by me.

However, This picture, and this Artist, has sentimental value to me. Before I found the Fur Fandom, before I found MessageBoards, before I used the computer for more than just games, I had never known of anything that would help me, other than the occasional stuff for a report or something. that all changed when my Computer Science Teacher, this time last year, assigned a project that we had to do in class. It was to create a Powerpoint presentation on what we, as a person, like, and why we came to my school.

I had always loved foxes, so that was one of the first things I searched for. Well, that, and wolves. During a Yahoo! web search for Foxes, I came a ccorss an image that intrigued me greatly. It was titled 'Learning About Foxes', and showed two anthro fox kits of maybe 7 or 8 yeas old reading a book on mundane foxes. When I went to look at the source file and image, I found it was blocked on the school server. I made it a mission to find out more about that image, and wrote the address in my agenda book prior to class ending.

Later that night, I typed the address, and found the site...

THIS site. [NSFW warning, contains mature images]

I was austricken at the art ((in the general section)) that was shown. So much of it was beautiful, and breathtaking. For days I came back to this site, hoping to find new images and maybe even find new info on older artwork.

Eventually, this site lead me to Ozy And Millie, and from there, My Internet surfing truly began.

Anyway, One of the images I really appreciated, was this sketch the Artist, Taurin Fox, did back in 03, of a Tribal looking winged wolf. The original Sketch can be found Here. I saw it, and images of an Angel that took the form of a bipedal wolf ((this was before I learned the terms Anthro or Furry)) to rid the world of evil came to mind, and as such, Jack was soon born. As I looked more and more, the image became differnet in my head each time, a new story coming from it, untill eventually, the true Jack was finally born.

Now, I have gone back, and colored the very same pic that, not so long ago, lead me into the fur fandom, and into the life I have now. I hope that by showing you the work of the Artist Taurin Fox, and telling you my story, you may wish to share yours with whatever image lead you to who you are now. I also hope, that you may also apprecciate the art of Taurin fox, and may, as I have, become a fan of his woks.

I thank you for taking the time to read this, and only hope you enjoyed it and found it thought provoking.

As it says on the image...
